What is Instant Book vs Request to Book on The Dyrt? Follow
There are two types of bookings:
Instant and Request to Book
Instant Book is where the Property Manager has set up the account through The Dyrt to allow a camper to "instantly" make a confirmed reservation. This type does not require Property Manager approval and the camper will show up at the property expecting to stay.
Request to Book is where the Property Manager has set up the account to require a camper to "request" the date(s) of stay and it will require Property Manager approval at the email address we have on file for a contact. There will be a 24 hour window where the property has the opportunity to accept or decline the reservation based on their calendar.
Requests to book with this method are only available 7 days or more before arrival. Less than 7 days from arrival will not be able to "request".
**Please keep in mind - it's very important to be attentive to these as campers are waiting for a response to know if they have a reservation or not**
Requests that have not been responded to within that 24 hour window will "expire" and the camper will be notified.
