The Dyrt Alerts are a brand new feature to help you find sold out campsites at campgrounds across the United States. You can create a scan (based on your arrival date and the scan options are priced according to that detail) and if a scan finds an open site at the campground where you'd like to go, you will receive a text about it and are strongly encouraged to act fast to book your campground!

Currently, this feature is only for campgrounds that are bookable through rec.gov, and we hope to expand our offering in the future! We can't guarantee you'll get an alert based on your search criteria, but if something opens up within your date range, we will send you a text message. Our alert service gives you the information with a link to the campground booking page at rec.gov, but it is up to you to complete the reservation if you still want it. There are no refunds on scans, even if no availability is found, and there are no refunds if we find something and you choose not to book it. The scans will not, at this time, cover private campgrounds, so not all campgrounds will be available for this alert process. We hope to help you find great camping in places you didn't think were possible!
