Is my OS (operating system) supported by The Dyrt app? What about my phone? Follow
We will do our best to support our app so that everyone can enjoy it fairly, however there are some limitations that make it hard, such as the age of a device or the inability of your device to upgrade its operating systems due to how old it is. Below are details about what we will support.
Android:
As of October 4, 2023:
We will officially and fully support Android OS 12, 13 and 14.
We will support, as best we can (best effort) Android 10 and 11.
Android 9 and earlier will no longer be supported.
Please note: The age of your device may also affect how the app functions.
Apple:
As of September 18, 2023:
We will officially and fully support iOS/iPadOS 15, 16 and 17. We will support, as best we can (best effort) iOS/iPadOS 13, and 14. Lastly, iOS/iPadOS 12 and earlier will no longer be supported.
Please note: The age of your device may also affect how the app functions.
Best effort means we will try to solve any problems a user has with the app, even if it’s not officially fully supported as noted above. This does not guarantee we can support or solve the issue based on the operating system you are running on your device as well as the age of the device itself.
Not supported means that there will no longer be updates to the app on the operating systems indicated above as “not supported”. They will continue to run as you are used to on those devices with those operating systems on them, but there will be no continued support if they do not work as intended. There is a possibility that at any given time, current upgrades to the supported operating systems could make the oldest versions not function at all.
The Dyrt will not provide any form of support for these older versions of the application running on unsupported OS versions. The age of the device, as well, may dictate the operating system that may or may not be supported.
