How does The Dyrt work?
However you camp — in a tent, trailer, RV, or cabin — we’re committed to helping you have the best camping experiences possible at www.thedyrt.com. Here you’ll find resources and connections to the most active camping community in the world.
- Campgrounds and Campsites on The Dyrt range from primitive tent campsites and RV sites to cabins, and everything in between.
One of the first things you need to do to be listed on The Dyrt is to create your listing here: https://thedyrt.com/claim and find it on our site and claim it to edit and gain use of your manager portal.
If you enable Instant Book or Request to Book and work with a Property Management System (Newbook, ResNexus, Rentals United, etc) or booking platform (ie: VRBO, Airbnb, Hipcamp) we can work with you to sync your calendars to avoid double bookings.
After listing your campground, it allows campers to view and see your property, but more importantly you can access the Manager Portal and control what information is out there for folks to see. If you want to allow bookings on our site, they are commission free!
Both Request to Book and Instant Book are commission free but Instant Book gives you a search boost on our site. With Request to Book you can manage reservations on your own.
In order to be bookable you must provide a description, photos, and sites. But since we work with many other sites and management systems, you can sync calendars, avoid double bookings, and get commission free bookings from The Dyrt.
