Can I make reservations on The Dyrt? Follow
Yes! Many campgrounds do offer that capability. There are two types that do.
Request to Book - these properties request your information and you will submit it to them. They have up to 24 hours to approve or decline the request, based on availability. You will receive a notice in your email about the "Request To Book" and the details of the campground you have submitted to. Whether they accept, decline or the request "expires" you will receive a follow up notice in your email as well.
Instant Book - these properties have inventory available to book right now and by choosing one of those, you are getting a booking immediately. You will receive a confirmation in your email.
Please note: Booking requests will immediately put a pending hold on yoru credit card for the amount of the potential purchase. This is to pre-approve the amount, in advance, so that if the campground approves the booking, we can then charge your card. If the campground does not approve the booking request, the pending hold (it's not a charge) will drop off in about 72 hours.
Other campgrounds prefer to take reservations by phone or through their own booking platforms. In those cases, you will see contact information for them on their campground page on our site.
