Can I make reservations on The Dyrt? Follow
There are some campgrounds that allow you to book through our website, and that number is constantly growing! If you find one that you like that does offer that option, simply submit your request (and it is a request, not a confirmation) and the campground manager has 24 hours to accept or decline your request, depending on site availability. If your reservation request is accepted, you will received a confirmation at the email your account is attached to and at that time, your card will be charged, and if it's declined, you will be notified of that too.
If your request is declined, but you still see a "charge" on your card, it's only a pre-authroization and will be released in the next few days.
For private campgrounds that have not yet enabled booking requests on The Dyrt, you can always call the campground directly or visit their own website to check on availability. But we are adding more daily and soon, many will offer Instant Booking!
Note, National and State Parks mostly use recreation.gov or reserveamerica.com for reservations.
